Blueprint Development

One of the most common questions players have when discussing the future of Next Island is about Next Island’s blueprints, since item crafting and customization is at the heart of Entropia gameplay.

Our planet went live without blueprints and crafting profession options, so my team’s goal now is to create and release blueprints that make use of uniquely Next Island loot and allow players to build items that match the Elysian aesthetic. At the same time, we want to make crafting and blueprints more accessible to new players without throwing off the economic balance of the other Entropia planets.

For obvious reasons, with the real-cash economy and the huge potential for exploits, I can’t talk too much about creating blueprints. But it’s no secret that we’ve spent a lot of time planning, developing and balancing blueprints. We expect to introduce a few new blueprints and new items with each content release, beginning in September, to create a full range of crafting activities and an active economy on our planet.
